Hello! My name is Richard S. Kim, and I’m one of Spwug’s regular contributors. Like all of the other contributors here, I am a geek. No, let me correct myself. I am a Geek. In fact, I am a Professional Geek.

Let me give you a little background on myself. I’ve been a teacher, a translator (anime, movies, video games), an interpreter, and now, I work for a video game company on the west coast. I have a wide variety of hobbies, many of which will be touched upon in my column here.

I’m not entirely sure what I’ll be writing about here, every Tuesday. I will most likely write about the Japanese language, Japanese culture, translating, interpreting, video games, computer games, role-playing games, the list goes on. (I may even rant, who knows?)

In any case, I will be writing about a lot of different things. I will also take suggestions, within reason, so feel free to leave responses - I will do my best to read and respond to all of them.
