Have you tried Kamelot or Rhapsody of Fire yet? Two incredibly awesome bands, very epic albums. ^_^

oh yes DragonForce! I enjoy their songs throughly and they never fail to jack me way up on adrenaline although, so does a lot of Iron Maiden songs, especially "Be Quick Or Be Dead" or "Run To The Hills". You turned me on to a few bands I haven't heard of here, so here's to you Mookie, Rock On!

I'm doing a NaNoWriMo novel this month, and I'll have to agree that music is one of the single best things for getting those creative juices flowing. For the novel I'm writing now, I feel compelled to mention the new CD by Nightwish - Dark Passion Play.

Mookie, if I know your taste in music (and it seems to be pretty consistant) I recommend you give it a listen, especially the songs "Poet and the Pendulum" "Amaranth" and my personal favorite: "Bye Bye Beautiful"

Listened to most of these on projectplaylist.com. I do believe my favourite of them is "Through the Fire and Flames." Altogether good stuff!
