Hey, I didn't know you had a PS3, ZZ! You must keep your gaming life private, behind closed doors, as it seduces you, flashing you...with its lights. ;)

Is it just me, or is it a little warm in here?

I also like that things are bigger and easier to see--we're using an HD screen in this house, but it's actually a small computer monitor that's not really big enough to be used as a gaming TV.

Our problems with connectivity are still going on, though. They didn't start until immediately after we updated, and things are still a bit wonky, though a bit better after some random tweaking on our end. Some people aren't reporting any problems at all, and others are reporting destabilized connections. Whatever's going on, I hope it's fixed soon!

Hey Red,

I'll add a couple of things to note. First I actually like all the XMB updates, but that might be cause I still have a rather small SD set. Stuff is much more visible now. That said on a bigger HD set, I didn't have a problem with the interface before. I suspect when I see it on the projector again I may find it bulky and would like to see it as an option in which one to use.

I kinda like the contextual store menu, saves me time, but that's just me.

AS for the network stuff, hopefully that will die down soon. I actually started noticing it before the 3.0 update hit (or at least before I applied it). The authentication servers have been acting hinky for about a week. I don't know if its the ps3 slims, or the 3.0 update but it seems to me that load ramped up on them a heck of a lot more than anyone expected. Which is to say, a lot more people are trying to log into the network than before...

Cheers
